About

I'm deeply passionate about families, and I work separately with parents and with children to build the emotional awareness that leads to compassion, connection, and harmony in the home.

I came to this emotional-awareness work as a result of my own life experiences.

I grew up in a big, noisy, loving family, that — like many devoted, well-meaning families — was at a loss about how to manage children except with dominance and control.

My response was to go inward, deep inside my own emotional world, and from that inner space, to look out, to study, and to learn all about emotions and behavior.

Once I left home for college, I discovered and fell in love with the idea of non-violence through Buddhist literature and meditation, and I spent the next four years studying the religious traditions of ancient India and other cultures.

Connecting through Art

After college, I returned to New York City, my hometown, and spent five years buying and archiving art for the private collection of an influential art collector.

Those years of first-hand experience with "high" art were instrumental in evolving my understanding about how feelings and emotions work, and the value of fine art to the lifelong process of inner growth.

Peaceful Parenting

After the birth of my daughter several years ago, I found my deeper purpose in life as a parent.

I discovered amazing tools that support my deep desire to parent my child in the peaceful way I believe she deserves.

Most importantly, I saw a calm, joyful maturity, a deeper sense of confidence, and an expanded air of well-being bloom in her as a result of my inner work.

I became a certified parenting coach to support other parents who are willing to do the work to radically transform their lives, and their relationships with their children.

Today, I am living my dream as a parent, parent coach, teacher, and founder of the Museum of Amazing Art. I'm on a mission to support families in the creation of peace through emotional awareness, all over the world.

In love,
Chani
